The school of translation and interpreting held a business simulation as part of the forum “Language Policy and Linguistic Security” on September 27, 2017. The simulation “Linguistic Security and Globalization” coincided with the university’s 100th anniversary.
The simulation was developed and held by I. Parina, A. Panova, J. Papilova, M. Chikov.
Students, lecturers, foreign guests of the forum, and representatives of interuniversity consortium with K. Waschik (headmaster of the Institute of Foreign Languages in Nordrhein-Westfalen) and S. Kibardina (holder of chair of linguistics and cross-cultural communication chair in Vologda State university) as their leaders participated in the simulation. It is well known the school of translation and interpreting with I. Zinovieva as its dean is one of the most active participants of the consortium.
